I am currently reading #GIRLBOSS by Sophia Amoruso, it is the first book on my list for the #MyYearOf15 project. I don’t want to get into the book too much in the post, but so far I can say the book is really all for Girl Power (and not in the over feminist way). Sophia has an addictive writing style that will quickly draw you in and get your mind ticking on how you can actually become a Girl Boss. I am not talking CEO of a company etc but rather the boss of your life, she helps put things into perspective in a fun way and definitely talk’s loads of sense when it comes to saving money. One of the many things I am enjoying about this book are the visual illustrations that accompany some of the mottos and messages of the book.
As a little light hearted Monday Motivation I have decided to share them with you.

A little bit about Sophia and Nasty Gal
This is a woman who knows what she is talking about. At the age of 22 she started up Nasty Gal on eBay a shop where she could sell vintage clothing to the highest bidder, she was the only employee at Nasty Gal and did everything herself to start from styling, photography to shipping products. Today Nasty Gal has its own retail website and has a revenue of over $23 million, in 2012 Nasty Gal was named one of the ‘fastest growing companies’ by Inc Magazine.
Like I mentioned #GIRLBOSS will not teach you how to become a CEO overnight but it will inspire you to start doing what makes you happy, and push you to achieve what you deserve in life.
Well I hope you have a great day and feel a little more inspired to go out and get it!
