When word hit the street a few years back that H&M was launching in South Africa, 2015 seemed so far away. But as usual time flies and the first ever H&M South Africa store will open its doors this weekend. If you don’t know why we are all so excited take a look at the below campaign images from the latest Spring collection.
Pretty amazing right!
So what do you need to know about H&M South Africa?
Cape Town will get the very first store in the V&A shopping center. The store will officially open on Saturday 17 October, 10:00am.
Johannesburg your turn will be Saturday 7 November at Sandton City Mall 11:00am
Durban sorry no news yet on when you will get a store so best you save up for a plane ticket.
There is an H&M website but unfortunately there will be no online shopping just yet for SA fans.
H&M have confirmed on twitter that both stores will stock the H&M Balmain collection. For more details on the collection checkout my #HMBalmaination post.
After the exchange rate went through the roof I was worried that H&M would not be as affordable to us as it is to the rest of the world. But after checking out the website they have stayed true to their word and remained affordable and stylish. Again the H&M twitter account confirmed that the prices online will indeed be that of instore stock.
I tried out my skills and curated some outfits from the website. Take a look below at the amazing finds you will be able to get your hands on soon.
