Back in May fashionistas went into a tizz when word went out that the latest designer collaboration for H&M would be Balmain. Balmain for those thinking WHAT? Is a French Couture House that is often seen on the red carpet and draws some of the most famous faces to its runway shows. On May 17 Balmain creative director Olivier Rousteing hit the Billboard Music awards red carpet with friends Kendall Jenner and Jourdan Dunn. His model friends were wearing none other than the designer himself but what was more exciting was that they were actually revealing the first pieces of the new collection. Social media went crazy and a Kardashian almost broke the internet again this was the start of #HMBalmaination.

“I want to talk to my generation: this is my main aim as a designer. H&M allows me the unique possibility of bringing everyone into the world of Balmain get a piece of the dream” Olivier Rousteing
